First of all, I would like to say thank you to all my group member for a wonderful trip to Sunway City a few days ago. Since I volunteer myself to cover the architecture part of this research, i saw a variety of well designed building with different theme. For example, Sunway Pyramid, also known as a shopping mall in the heart of Sunway City, with the theme of Egyptian era include the sculpture of Pharaoh and also symbols of hieroglyphs at some part of the building such as pillars, that support the structure of the building. In addition to the theme of Egyptian era, front entrance of this building also include the huge sitting lion’s with huge head that connected to the pyramid behind it. About the interior part, Sunway Pyramid have a huge walking area that is comfortable for people to walk around the building. This walking area also provide space for a better and faster emergency exit in case of emergency. Further research on Sunway City, I also manage to capture some picture of the architecture design of Sunway Hotel(a famous five star hotel in Sunway City) and also Sunway Lagoon(water theme-park). Both of this is one of the tourist attraction in the heart of Sunway City. Sunway Hotel is a five stars hotel that was build with the theme of Balinese. This hotel include a wonderful exterior designed as well as the interior that fits the theme of Balinese. In the exterior part of the building, you can see the leaf of Bali at every end of the building, on top of the roof. As for the interior part of the building, the concept of Balinese still remains as the picture that was hung in the wall reflect the concept of Balinese. Furthermore, Sunway Lagoon, that was located beside in the middle of Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Hotel is also famous throughout Malaysia and even to the world for its wonderful designed of water theme-park. Sunway Lagoon include a huge wave pool and also a long lazy river that circle’s around the Sunway Lagoon.
